Supplies
2 skeins Fun Fur – (52 ft pkgs)
1 McDonald Straw
Tape
Scissors
¼” ribbon any color

Step 1:
• Measure out ribbon from the tip of your nose to the end of your arm (doesn’t matter right or left).
• From that point measure out about half of your arms length.
• Cut your ribbon

Step 2:
• Thread your ribbon through the straw leaving about 1½” out of the end of the straw.
• Tape the ½” ribbon to the straw, but don’t tape it all the way around.

Step 3:
• Open both packages of Fun Fur and find the ends.
• Tie both ends of the Fun Fur and the end of the ribbon together in a knot that won’t come undone.
• Holding the knot you just made and the straw end that does not have the tape, you start to wrap the Fun Fur around the straw. DO NOT wrap tightly. It will be harder to get off the straw later.
• Keeping wrapping and sliding the fun fur down the straw. DO NOT take the Fun Fur off the straw until the straw is full.
Step 4:
• Once the straw is full, you can start sliding the Fun Fur off the straw.
• But DO NOT slide all the Fun Fur off the straw. Leave about 2” on the straw at all times.
• DO NOT slide the fur to the end of the ribbon. Leave the ribbon alone until later; gravity will move the fun fur to the end.
• Keep wrapping and sliding until you reach the end of the Fun Fur.

Step 5:
• Once you have reached the end of the Fun Fur, carefully take the tape off the straw and slide the ribbon out of the straw.
• Tie the ribbon and the ends of the Fun Fur together like you did at first; in a knot that won’t come undone.

Step 6:
• Take the 2 ends and tie them together just below the knots, I find it holds together better.
• Go around the Lei and fluff and slide the fun fur to make sure there are not any spaces.
